Tonight we had a couple of our closest friends come over to celebrate Halie's 1st birthday. We ate cupcakes and had ice cream. And played with toys.
Although Halie wasnt the happiest party goer. She hated the hat. She looked so cute in it, but she would not leave it on happily. I guess I have taught Halie well, because as soon as her hand got frosting on it, it was all over. She started crying, until I cleaned it off. She did not want to get dirty. As a mother, that is what you want, but on her birthday I wanted her to get messy. She wanted no part of that. As long as she had the spoon she was ok to eat the cake. My friend Jacqui's daughter Brooklyn has the same farm set, so she was explaining how to play with it. What a dang cutie!! Halie has been in the loviest mood lately. She has been hugging every doll she has. I have no idea what got in to her, because she has always been the baby who never cuddles, so lately I have been enjoying all the hugs she gives. She kisses Brett and me with her mouth wide open, and pretty much licks our faces. It is so precious. No matter how wet you end up. Not quite sure what to think.
Brett and I have been married for just over 6 years. We have lived in St. George the whole time. After 3 years of being married we decided it was time to have a family. We have a 3 year old daughter Halie, who is full of energy all the time. We also have a 9 month old son, Hunter. Who is turning out to be just like his sister.
