Stroller rides

Halie loves to play mom. This stroller is the stroller for her dolls. One day she kept asking me is she could push Hunter in her stroller. I said no a million times. Finally I gave in. Hunter loved it, not to mention Halie was in heaven. He is such a tank he was almost to big. She said he is way heavier than my dolls. She could barely turn him. It was pretty funny to watch.
What a cutie pie.

Mr. Potato Head

Costco has this pack of Mr. Potato heads. It came with two big and two small potatoes. I didn't think Halie would be able to build them. She had never played with them before. When we got home she asked if she could play with them. I opened the potato and she dumped them out. About 15 minutes later this is what she had built all by her self. She told me she made out family. I thought it was so cute.
She was so proud of herself.

Now it is a game to build ourselves. Of course Halie always get the big faces while Brett and I get the tiny ones. She has loved this toy set. I am so glad he got it for her.

Jumping Jacks

Anytime Halie goes potty like a big girl we take her to Jumping Jacks. I know it is a bribe, but I am running out of ideas for potty training. Halie and her friend Shelby love this place. They are so cute together. This is the first time Halie has gotten on the big dragon. She is always scared of it.
Hunter had a blast. OK he was a a little nervous. He has very sensitive ears, and it is a bit noisy in there. Plus Halie had just bounced right next to him. He did not know what to think.

Yes that is Brett on the merry-go-round. He thinks he is still a little kid. I was just waiting for the worker to come and say your to big for the ride.

Fair

A few weeks ago we went to the Washington County fair. My friend Amanda's sister gave her a bunch of tickets, and she was very nice to share with Halie. Cache and Halie rode tons of rides. They loved the motorcycles, and flying saucers. Halie's favorite ride was the jeeps. A true child from Brett. That was really the only ride she kept asking to ride over and over.

Swimming

Since Brett's parents condo has a pool we go swimming all the time. I guess Hunter was just done swimming for week. He was in the water for about 10 minutes and then he got fussy. We walked him in the stroller for a few, and he fell asleep. I just thought this was so precious.
How would it be? I don' t know I am always chasing Halie, or walking Hunter it feels like.

Halie thinks she is such a big girl. I was going to get in this floaty. By the time I passed Hunter to Brett and turned around Halie was in it. For the rest of the time we were there she stayed in it. She wouldn't even let me get in with her. What a stink bug. I love how her feet are crossed.

Seep, sleep, sleep

Hunter seems to sleep all the time. Which is nice, but Halie never sleeps in the day. Sometimes I would love to take a nap too. I woke up a few mornings ago and found Hunter like this. I have noticed lately he loves to have his face covered. It scares me a little. If he is tired he just puts his blanket over his face and falls asleep. He has two blankets he just loves. One goes in the car and if he gets fussy we give him the blanket and he puts it in him mouth and then he is fine. I know it sounds weird, but it works. The other is the one in the picture. He has to sleep with this one. Then when his blankets aren't around he borrows Halie's silk and mink one. He loves the silky side. Halie will go to grab it from him and it is soaking wet from his slobbers. Halie will not let anyone use her blanket, except Hunter.

I think he is showing us his man muscles.

Yes he still sucks his thumb. I always fought Halie with this when she was a baby. Now I just let him. I think for my own sanity. I also think it is a little cute. He only does it when he is falling sleep, or when he is starving.

7 Peaks

About a month ago, or longer. We went to 7 Peaks. It had to have been the coldest day of the year to go. It was freezing. Brett had to stay back in St. George to work, in the nice hot weather. It was fun I just wish it would have been warmer.

This was how I kept Hunter warm. He actually slept almost the whole time.

My dad and Halie bug. As you can see she is almost asleep. Prior to 7 peaks Halie had spent the week at her camping grandpa's and grandma Lisa's house. She had so much fun. It was the first time she has been away from us besides the night Hunter was born. Now she always asks when do I get to go on vacation again?

After 7 peaks we went to to my grandma's house (nanny Bart's), and had dinner. Halie loves wagons right now. She found nanny Bart's and wouldn't get out.

I put Hunter in the wagon with her and she thought she was in heaven. Halie loves Hunter more than anything. He digs her right back. She can make him laugh so hard. If she is not around he is looking for her. Most of the time she is good about sharing her toys, but there is the occasional that's my toy.

New 4 wheeler

We got a 4 wheeler last week. We got a really good deal we just could not pass up. We paid 200 bucks for it. It needed a few things, but easy fixes. It is not the best looking ride, but it is a 1998 and it was cheap. Since our backyard is a big dirt mess we have spent a lot of time riding it in the backyard. Halie loves to 4 wheel (thanks to grandpa and his yellow 4 wheeler). We only have a bike helmet for her. She knows she can't ride without it though. She is always asking if we can go for a ride to her friend Shelby's house. They live up the street and have some 4 wheelers too.

Since Hunter can't ride he hangs out in the stroller and watches.

Halie and Mason

Halie and Mason have been friends for a long time. They are so cute together. We went to Fiesta Fun and they have a jungle gym area to play in. Halie was more into the school bus than the gym. Halie convinced Mason to ride with her. They were so cute together. They didn't even have any money to ride the bus. They looked like they were having the time of there lives.

Halie loves Mason.

Big Sister

Hunter looks up to Halie. Every time she is around him he can't take his eyes off her. No matter how much she is in his face and tickling him with her hair, he loves her. Anytime she is talking and she is not in the same room, he is looking for her.

This is what happens when I look away for 10 seconds. Halie thought she was so funny for putting the pink crown on Hunter. She told me he looks like a pretty princess.

Hunter is such a smiley little man. Whenever I am frustrated all I have to do is look and him and he will smile and I feel better. Halie gives big warm loving hugs and kisses too.

Sleeping

When I woke up yesterday morning this was how I found Hunter. I thought he looked so cute.


I swear all Hunter does is eat and sleep. I guess life is so hard when all he has to do is eat, sleep and poop.

4th of July

For the 4th my parents come down to visit. We had a nice BBQ with steaks and corn on the cob. Brett had to eat hot dogs, because of his braces hurting his teeth (sorry). We went to the park to partake in the activities. Pretty much the food. As you can see this was how much fun Hunter had. What a ruff life.

Yes Hunter loves to sleep. He spends alot of time sleeping. Yes he is a thumb sucker. I was really angry at first, then a friend told me that was good right now. She called him a self soother. When you have 2 out of control kids if he can soothe himself it is ok for now.

Halie was being a brat and this was the best picture I could get of her all day.

My mom and Hunter

While we were at the park they had a little train ride. Halie kept saying he wanted to ride on it. I told my dad she says she wants to, but when it comes down to it she will be a chicken to ride alone. My dad took her anyway (my dad has a really hard time saying no to her). She actually rode by herself and loved it. I was so proud of her.

Hunter 1st Swim

Halie loves to go swimming at the condo. Brett's parents have a condo on the other side of town. We go swimming there quite often, because it doesn't cost any money. Halie had been asking to go swimming, so we decided to go. On the way over she must have fallen asleep, because when we got there this is what she looked like.

This was Hunter's first trip to the pool. He loved it. He is our chill baby. He just goes with the flow of things. He never even cried, or made a peep even when Halie would splash him. Once we got out I changed his clothes and he fell asleep.

Friends

In the middle of town the city built this cool little water park. it is just a little stream with big rocks, and a billion kids. Halie asks everyday if we can go to main street park. We invited our good friends to go with us one day. They have a little girl named Shelby who is Halies same age. They are so cute together. They get along really well. They had such a blast at the park.

Shelby lives just up the street. Halie asks all the time can we walk to Shelby's I want to play. Yes there is the cheeser again.

As I have mentioned in the past Halie loves her tu tu. For some reason when any boys come over to our house they end up wearing the tu tu's and the dress up princess shoes. Most of the dads tell them to take it off and tell them boys don't wear that kind of stuff. It is so funny. I don't know if Halie tells them to wear it, or if they choose on their own. Here is Halie's good friend Cache wearing the dress ups. Halie thinks she is the princess and the boys are her princes.

Halie has really been into Little Rascals the movie lately. There is a part where these girls are in a ballerina concert. Every time that part is on she makes me pause it, so she can go her tu tu and her crown.

Soft

Lately Halie has been really ruff. No matter how many times I say be soft, calm, be nice she can't. Her niceness is few and far between. When I saw this I just about fell over. We have been telling her one day Hunter will be beating up on you. When that day comes we wont protect you, because of how mean you were to him. She tells us I am the big sister. What she doesn't realize is Hunter is getting big fast.

She really loves him she just can' t be soft. We realized she has been hanging out with a bunch of boys lately. We think that is why she has been little ruff. We are trying to play with more girls now.

Smiles

I think this is my new favorite picture of Hunter. He is such a happy baby as long as he is fed. Hunters favorite thing to do is eat. He is starting to roll to his sides. He is getting so strong he can hold his head up forever.
